Some Drawings

I miss Jai!
Ive worked too much *sigh* I want my holidays back! :(
Im just trying to save as much as I can for Hamilton island in Feb and I also want to save for travelling afterwards.
I REALLY want to find a new job soon. Im kind of scared to finish tafe, I guess I'll have to get straight into a full time job.

I just finished watching The Diving Bell & The Butterfly and it was so moving.

It was about a French man named Jean- Dominiqque Bauby who was the editor-in-chief og magazine Elle.
He suffered a stroke on december 8th, 1995 and awoke from a coma 20 days later. His entire body was paralyzed except for some movement in his left eye.
Anyway, It was so inspiring to know that he wrote his very own book with the little movement he had in his left eye. The book took around 200, 000 blinks, and each word took about 2 minutes.
Sadly, this very talented and witty man died 10 days after the book was published.
the book went on to sell 150, 000 copies in its first week and became a number one best seller across Europe.
RIP Jean- Dominique Bauby

Mission Aborted

Well today was a really nice sunny day so I went for a walk around Mitcham. I wanted to go along the tracks & photograph all the graffiti but I went in the opposite direction to find this building I've seen that looks like its been abandoned.
The building was only a short walk down the road but If I wanted to get close to it id have to wade through long grass & vines & run across the train tracks THEN jump over a barbed fence, so as much as I wanted to go see it I couldnt really be bothered, It was starting to get hot.
So... mission aborted. For now atleast.

I want flowers & lace & bows! *sigh*
Anyway, Im getting really excited to go to Hamilton Island for my sisters Wedding in Feb! Jai & I have booked our accomodation at a lovely hotel with beach views.

The City Of Love

Paris, people call it the city of love. Its such a beautiful place. And for those of you who think it is overrated you are so wrong. What more would you want in a city? The whole city buzzes with excitement, every stroll down the street can lead you somewhere spectacular & magical. The city is pure beauty.

Paris is a place I would love to visit again & again in the future. Next time I go which will hopefully be December 2009, I'll be sure to take many more photos than I did last time. I think the first time I went I was to in awe of the place to take heaps of photos.

In the link below you will find the photos I took in Paris & a little bit of information about each place I visited.

I Carry Your Heart

Here is the deepest secret nobody knows,
here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

Phillip Island Trip 2008

A week before my 18th in July Jai and I went on a holiday to Phillip island :)

We left on the 1st of July which was a Monday and came back a couple days before my brithday.
It was the best holiday Ive ever had :) For four days I felt completly carefree and so happy.

It was so great to spend each day with my lovely man :) I was so lucky because Jai bought me a new camera for my birthday so i got given my present the day we left.
We both took heaps of nice photos. Although I think Jai took the majority of the nice ones :)

We did so many great things.
Our first stop was Sunderland bay, where we stopped to take a few photos and try not get blown away by the wind gusts. We also went to Smiths beach, and went on a 3 hour bush walk to Cape Woolamai, saw Pyramid Rock, Saw the seals at The Nobbies, heaps of animals at Wildlife Wonderland, the koalas at The Koala Conservation Centre, and we visited Churchill Island which was really interesting.

Here's some of our photos below :)
